catmaSutra 8: Ride with Me

Exhibiting Artists: Paul Koh

Venue: Utterly Art 20B Mosque Street > venue details

Dates: 06 Dec 2012 - 23 Dec 2012

Ride with Me takes us away to a place where small things matter more than big ones - like getting ready for a dance in the rain, spending time waiting for the sun to rise, or hours watching birds and fishes glide through their universes.

The catmaSutra cats take us through a journey based on innocence, where imagination marries delight, freedom exudes playfulness, such that we can become a child again. We become the music that we are - a blissful symphonic harmony - when we stop to reacquaint ourselves with these moments. Immerse and indulge then in the 8th collection of catmaSutra paintings at Utterly Art!

Artist

  • Paul Koh

    Singapore

Ever since he was a child, Paul has been illustrating and drawing. Growing up with cats also means that his two passions are inextricably linked. He experimented with different forms of expressions (from portraiture and figurative to pop and abstract) before finding his element in his "Catmasutra" series, which inevitably continues the catty tales of his cats, Halo and Angel. His approach to art resembles the personality of the cat - playful, curious, unpredictable and quirky.
